About the Role
We’re hiring an Accounting Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established structural engineering firm based in San Francisco. This hybrid role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong foundation in financial reporting, compliance, and project accounting. You’ll lead core financial operations across U.S. and Mexico offices and support strategic initiatives for continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations including payroll, A/P, A/R, and intercompany transactions
- Manage consolidated financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Ensure tax and audit compliance across business and property filings
- Supervise client invoicing and revenue projections; maintain fixed assets and lease registers
- Lead improvements in accounting procedures and support budgeting efforts
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proficient in U.S. GAAP, consolidations, and transfer pricing
- Skilled in Excel and accounting systems (AEC360 experience a plus)
- Strong communication, organizational, and team management abilities
- Experience with project accounting is highly desirable
