About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Tax Manager on behalf of our client, a well-established CPA firm based in Austin. This role is ideal for a seasoned tax professional with a CPA license and extensive public accounting experience who thrives in client advisory, team leadership, and strategic tax planning across a diverse portfolio that includes nonprofits, estates, and high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review tax engagements for individuals, nonprofits, trusts, and private clients
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to reduce client liabilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor, delivering customized tax solutions
- Mentor and manage a team of tax professionals, promoting high performance
- Stay current on tax regulations and conduct complex tax research
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of tax experience in public accounting
- CPA license required; Master’s in Taxation preferred
- Deep knowledge of corporate, partnership, and individual tax compliance
- Proficiency with tax software such as ProSystem fx or CCH Axcess
- Strong leadership, client relationship, and communication skills
