About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Tax Manager on behalf of our client, a respected public accounting firm based in Charlotte, NC. This position is ideal for a CPA with at least six years of public accounting experience, particularly in serving private clients, high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, estates, and trusts. The role is primarily onsite, with flexibility and relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tax returns for partnerships, S-corporations, C-corporations, trusts, and estates
- Develop and implement strategic tax planning for high-net-worth individuals and private clients
- Lead and mentor a small team of tax professionals
- Manage client relationships and provide strategic consulting
- Oversee project timelines, engagement deliverables, and client billing processes
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
- CPA license required
- Strong knowledge of corporate, partnership, and trust tax compliance and planning
- Proven leadership and mentorship experience
- Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks, BNA Tax Planner, and CaseWare (preferred)
