About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer (PE) on behalf of our client, a respected MEP consulting firm based in Baltimore, MD. This full-time, onsite position is ideal for a Maryland-licensed PE with experience leading electrical design for hospitals, telecom, and institutional facilities. You’ll guide technically complex projects from concept through construction, supporting high-performance design across mission-critical environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical system design for healthcare, higher education, telecom, and government facilities
- Prepare drawings, specs, load calculations, and perform field inspections
- Coordinate normal and emergency power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear)
- Participate in client meetings, site visits, and project presentations
- Oversee multiple projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, and budget
What We’re Looking For
- 8–20 years of experience in electrical design for buildings
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Active PE license in Maryland
- Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred
- Experience with UPS, lighting, low-voltage, and mission-critical systems
- U.S. citizenship and valid driver’s license required
