About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Tax Manager – Private Client Services on behalf of a highly respected public accounting firm in the Greater Boston area. This role is ideal for a CPA with strong technical expertise in individual and closely held business taxation who values deep client relationships, mentorship, and long-term advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and review tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and S-corporations.
- Develop tailored tax planning strategies addressing wealth transfer, estate planning, charitable giving, and business succession.
- Supervise tax staff, manage project workflows, and ensure high-quality, timely deliverables.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, cultivating long-term, consultative relationships.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client service initiatives and internal growth strategies.
What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of tax experience in a public accounting firm
- CPA license required
- Extensive experience in private client services, including individual, trust, and partnership taxation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency with Lacerte, QuickBooks, BNA Tax Planner, and CaseWare preferred
- Detail-oriented and client-focused mindset
